Mangrove Plantations

The Sundarbans, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Bengal, plays a vital role in environmental protection, pollution reduction, and supporting the livelihoods of local communities who rely heavily on its resources. Recognizing its importance, the Sri Ramakrishna Rural Welfare Foundation has launched a dedicated tree plantation initiative to protect and preserve this unique ecosystem. Trees are planted strategically, with ongoing care and monitoring to ensure healthy growth. Our mission is twofold: to conserve this natural heritage and to safeguard the lives and livelihoods of the local population.
