SRI RAMAKRISHNA RURAL WELFARE FOUNDATIONGender Awareness Session
Sri Ramakrishna Rural Welfare Foundation is working to alleviate discrimination based on gender. We visit villages, drive awareness campaigns, and spread awareness among women. We impart knowledge about their rights and that they have the same chances as men. Our goal is to make sure everyone, regardless of gender, gets equal opportunities and is treated fairly. Through such efforts, we’re working towards a community where everyone is respected and has the same chances in life.
Counselling for Dropout students
We offer counselling sessions for dropout students in marginalized areas. In these areas, due to economic challenges, most children often have to discontinue their education, Our focus is on providing educational support, encouraging these children to return to school, and creating pathways for continued learning. Through these efforts, we aim to bridge educational gaps, empower students, and foster a brighter future for them.
Mask Distribution
The covid protocol emphasises using clean face masks. Face masks help prevent not only COVID but also other diseases. We recently distributed masks at a railway platform to travellers and shopkeepers, spreading awareness about their benefits. Our goal is to keep everyone safe by encouraging the use of masks and emphasizing their role in preventing the spread of infectious diseases.
Suicide Prevention and Mental Health Awareness
We’re dedicated to preventing suicide and promoting mental health awareness. Nowadays, keeping our minds healthy is a challenge, especially for young people. We’ve started counseling sessions to help them maintain good mental health, encouraging them to face challenges, providing support when needed, and empowering them to become resilient. Our aim is to create a supportive environment where everyone feels capable of facing life’s difficulties.
Waste Management Programme
We have also started a waste management program to protect the environment. We are mainly focusing on proper disposal and recycling of waste, promoting a cleaner and greener ecosystem. Together, we aim to raise awareness, encourage responsible waste practices, and contribute to the conservation of our environment for a sustainable future.
Stationery Items Distribution
Sri Ramakrishna Rural Welfare Foundation has recently arrangede a stationery distribution program in a village of rural Barasat. We have provide free books, exercise books, pens, pencils, and other necessary materials among unprivileghed needy children. Our main goal is to remove barriers to education and to empower these children with the basic things they need for uninterrupted learning and a brighter future.
Soap Distribution
On behalf of SRRWF, we have distributed soap among people focusing maintaining personal hygiene. The aim behind this effort is to raise awareness and provide essential hygiene products to individuals who may face challenges accessing them. By distributing soap, we contribute to promoting cleanliness and preventing the spread of diseases, fostering a healthier and safer environment for everyone.
Drug-Related Awareness
We’re working to help people overcome the harmful effects of drug addiction by spreading awareness. Through informative sessions, we aim to educate everyone about the harmful effects of drug addiction. Our goal is to encourage a healthier lifestyle, free from the negative impacts of substance abuse, and support those in need of assistance.
Youth development
We’re also dedicated to developing rural youth as they are the future leaders. Recognizing their pivotal role, we conduct awareness programs to inspire and encourage them. Our focus is on fostering self-dependence, empowering youth to contribute to a stronger society. We aim to build capable leaders who will steer our communities towards a brighter and more resilient future.
Women Empowerment and Child Development
Our main goals include empowering women and ensuring child development, especially in vulnerable rural areas. Women and children often face illness, abuse, and neglect. We’re working to raise awareness, encouraging women to speak up for their rights and promoting education for children. By empowering these sections of the community, we aim to create a safer and brighter future for all.
Child Health and Immunization Awareness
Ensuring child health is crucial, and vaccination plays a vital role. We’re spreading awareness among parents to ensure timely vaccines for their children. These vaccines help protect the children from illnesses, keeping them safe and healthy. These efforts on behalf of Sri Ramakrishna Rural Welfare Foundation aim to create a healthier environment for children, preventing the spread of diseases and ensuring their well-being.
