SRI RAMAKRISHNA RURAL WELFARE FOUNDATION

Republic Day

Each year, on January 26th, our nation observes Republic Day, holding great importance for our citizens. The President raises the national flag, and we gather at our organization. We promote awareness about the Constitution and its significance. Spreading the values of unity, secularism, and camaraderie, we celebrate the spirit of brotherhood and friendship on this occasion.

World Environment Day

On June 5th, we joyfully observe World Environment Day, reflecting our deep environmental concern. We take a pledge to safeguard nature and enhance awareness. Through tree planting, we emphasize the crucial role of trees in countering deforestation. This day serves as a collective commitment to nurture and protect our environment, ensuring a healthier and greener planet for present and future generations.

Independence Day

Every August 15th, we at Sri Ramakrishna Rural Welfare Foundation commemorate Independence Day, honouring the brave freedom fighters and martyrs who fought for our freedom from two centuries of slavery. On this day, our President hoists the flag, and together as a nation, we proudly sing the national anthem. Vibrant cultural performances by enthusiastic children cultivate patriotism. This day signifies our path to liberty, nurturing deep national pride within us.

Netaji Jayanti

On every January 23rd, we observe Netaji Jayanti, commemorating the memory of this legendary freedom fighter. His significant contribution to strengthening the agenda of freedom fighting and paving the way for our nation’s liberation is remembered on this day. On this day we pay tribute to his indomitable spirit and unwavering dedication that shaped the course of our country’s history.

Saraswati Puja

On the auspicious occasion of Vasant Panchami, every year Saraswati puja is celebrated in Sri Ramakrishna Rural Welfare Foundation. On this day we all together prepare for the puja events since morning. People gather in our organization premises to worship and make offerings to Goddess Saraswati. Local children take part in the small program, perform dance, singing, and other cultural activities and make the events joyful and momentous

Rakhi Purnima

Rakhi Purnima holds significance for us as we celebrate Raksha Bandhan. Beyond the sibling bond, Sri Ramakrishna Rural Welfare Foundation’s members unite to honor the broader human connection. On this day, we tie sacred threads on each other’s wrists, symbolizing mutual respect and care. It’s a special occasion that highlights the importance of the human bond and reinforces our commitment to supporting and nurturing one another.

Teacher’s Day

Every year on September 5th, we celebrate Teacher’s Day. Children from our organization come together to honor the invaluable contributions of their teachers. On this occasion, our students engage in enjoyable activities such as cutting cakes and sharing chocolates and sweets. It’s a day to express gratitude and celebrate the mentorship that shapes their lives, fostering a strong bond of appreciation and respect.
